Vadym Liakh, 50 y.o., head of the Sloviansk City Administration. He has three degrees and is currently studying for a postgraduate degree at the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. He has been involved in political activities since his student days. He first became a deputy of the Sloviansk City Council in 2002. Then he was elected to the local deputy corps three more times. In 2015 and 2020, he was elected mayor of Sloviansk. In all the years of independence, only Vadym Liakh has managed to win the trust of the townspeople and be re-elected for a second term. In August 2021, he was appointed as a head of the Sloviansk City Administration. Since March 2022 - Head of the Sloviansk City Administration. He is married. He has two daughters.
