Aron Schuster was born in 1984 in Würzburg. From 2004 to 2009 he studied Business Administration with a stress on Corporate Development and Controlling at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. After successfully completing his academic course of studies, he was hired by the fashion group s.Oliver, a job he maintained for four years. His area of responsibility was the expansion and restructuring of the company’s retail stores in Germany and Europe. From November 2013, Aron Schuster served as deputy director of the Central Welfare Board of Jews (ZWST) in Germany. Since 1 July 2018 he is director of the ZWST.
Since his youth, Mr. Schuster was an honorary youth activist of the ZWST as a youth leader, where he was charged with the training of two age groups of youth leaders (Madrichim). Additionally Aron Schuster is an active community leader in his home town. Since 2008, Aron Schuster has been a municipal politician in the city council of Würzburg. Since 2010, he has been a member of the ombudsman office of the city of Würzburg, fighting against social discrimination and encouraging civil courage. Since September 2016, he also is a board member of IsraAID Germany. Aron Schuster is married and the father of two sons.
